Who we are
Eco Bahawalpur is an independent, youth-led environmental awareness platform dedicated to promoting sustainability, climate action, waste management, biodiversity conservation and environmental education across Bahawalpur. We work close to the ground, translating global environmental challenges into local action that ordinary families, students and neighbourhoods can take part in.
We are not tied to any political party or industry. Our focus is simple: help the people of Bahawalpur understand their own environment and give them practical ways to protect it.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur
I am a Gold Medalist graduate in Environmental Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), where I completed my degree with a 4.00 CGPA, and a dedicated climate and environmental advocate. My academic background has strengthened my commitment to sustainability, climate action, environmental conservation and community engagement.
Alongside Eco Bahawalpur I have worked inside the institutions that shape environmental policy in this region: an internship at the Environment Protection Agency in Bahawalpur, and selection for the Chief Minister’s Climate Leadership Internship Programme 2026, whose training follows UNFCCC-aligned learning. That experience keeps our work grounded in what is realistic and enforceable here, rather than borrowed from somewhere else.
I founded Eco Bahawalpur with the vision of making environmental awareness accessible, practical and locally relevant. I believe environmental protection begins with informed individuals and empowered communities.
Through Eco Bahawalpur, I aim to educate people about local environmental challenges, promote sustainable lifestyles, encourage community participation, and highlight the important role of women and families in protecting our environment. My mission is to inspire positive environmental action that contributes to a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Bahawalpur.
