Our mission
To educate, inspire and empower individuals and communities to adopt sustainable lifestyles and actively protect the environment.
Empowering communities for a greener, cleaner and more sustainable Bahawalpur.
Eco Bahawalpur is an independent, youth-led environmental awareness platform dedicated to promoting sustainability, climate action, waste management, biodiversity conservation and environmental education across Bahawalpur. We work close to the ground, translating global environmental challenges into local action that ordinary families, students and neighbourhoods can take part in.
We are not tied to any political party or industry. Our focus is simple: help the people of Bahawalpur understand their own environment and give them practical ways to protect it.
To educate, inspire and empower individuals and communities to adopt sustainable lifestyles and actively protect the environment.
To make Bahawalpur a cleaner, greener, climate-resilient city where every citizen contributes to environmental protection.
What guides us
Every choice weighed against what it leaves for the next generation.
Change that is led by residents, not delivered to them.
Clear, local knowledge that people can act on.
Practical steps against heat, drought and pollution here and now.
Simple, low-cost solutions suited to South Punjab.
Honest numbers, published in full, even when they disappoint.
Leadership
Environmental Science graduate & climate advocate
I am a graduate in Environmental Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and a dedicated climate and environmental advocate. My academic background has strengthened my commitment to sustainability, climate action, environmental conservation and community engagement.
I founded Eco Bahawalpur with the vision of making environmental awareness accessible, practical and locally relevant. I believe environmental protection begins with informed individuals and empowered communities.
Through Eco Bahawalpur, I aim to educate people about local environmental challenges, promote sustainable lifestyles, encourage community participation, and highlight the important role of women and families in protecting our environment. My mission is to inspire positive environmental action that contributes to a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Bahawalpur.
Why it matters
Making heatwaves, water stress and air quality something people can see and understand.
Everyday habits — less waste, less burning, less plastic — that add up across a city.
Cleanups, plantation drives and awareness walks anyone can join.
Answers built for South Punjab’s soil, water and climate, not copied from elsewhere.
Schools, families and young people learning to protect what is around them.
Take part
Every week we run a cleanup, a plantation drive or an awareness walk. Volunteers pick the one that fits their schedule — no experience needed, tools and water provided.
Follow the work
Cleanups, sightings and air-quality readings, posted as they happen.
