Independence Day plantation, Dring Stadium
2,000 saplings, families welcome. Saplings and water provided; bring a hat.
Every sapling geo-tagged, watered for three years, and counted again in public — including the ones that die.
Photographs of planting day are not results. A sapling in this climate needs shade in its first summer, water through two dry seasons, and protection from goats. Survival at 36 months is the only number worth quoting, so it is the one we publish.
A sponsorship covers the sapling, the pit, the guard and two years of water. You get the coordinates, the species, and a photograph at each count. Sponsor one, or sponsor a row along a school wall.
Sponsorships and drive bookings both go through the contact page — tell us the number of trees and the tehsil.
